GOLDBERG VARIATIONS - A PERFUMED CONCERT
In 2022, the Scent Festival Zurich commissioned Vincent Micotti to create a series of perfume compositions for a pivotal project “Duftkonzert - Perfume Concert”. To capture the scenography behind Bach's Goldberg Variations, three perfume compositions were created, the composer’s workspace, the forest light, and the finale CLAP 2138. This project was designed to give the public a unique perspective on Bach's work, and provide an immersive concert experience by creating a hyper-realistic olfactory representation of Bach's Goldberg Variations.

In 2017, Vincent Micotti was commissioned by the Fondation Beyeler for
its 20th anniversary to create a scented memory of Paul Klee's
life under the exhibition ‘The Abstract Dimension’. Fourteen iconic
scents that were specifically created by Vincent Micotti to offer the
audience a striking and deep sensory connection to Paul Klee’s
remarkable life. As a grand finale of this exhibition, Lights
and Shadows was composed as an extra highlight, which combines every aspect and essence of fourteen scents shown during the exhibition.
Lights and Shadows is a deliberate provocation to its time. Thriving for the light, while keeping alive in the shadow.

A SPRING STARTS IN SILENCE
As the first Vincent Micotti x Teodor Currentzis edition, έαp 16 opens a profound dialogue between humans and nature. This unusual olfactory kaleidoscope unveils its mystery with an opulent opening: the explosion of fresh air, the excessive forest air, and the humid impression of the cold stone benches.
"As time ticks on, the silence possesses the space: gazing at foggy, green woodland through a rain-flecked window, a silent tear starts to roll; the muted candlelight diffuses across an old book, an aged scent from its broken pages carried out by the flickering flame; the ozonic cold air seeping through the wooden door suspends the deep thoughts of a new future."

THÉROS
THE SUN, THE ISLAND, THE UNTITLED LOVE
Théros is the 2nd Micotti x Currentzis edition, the theme is summer. The aroma of sun-heated sand, the tender skin under the sun, the salty sea water, the bright blue sky all expand into a vast picture of dreams.
In order to accomplish this
distinctive impression, special types of genuine oud oil were chosen to
create Théros. Therefore Théros has nothing in common with the oud notes
from any conventional creations.

September Country is the 3rd Micotti x
Currentzis edition, cherishing the last season before the winter frost, when the fragrance of ripened fruits and herbs is still bursting in the air. In the excess of enjoyment and the romance of summer coming to an end, we could believe, holding to this moment, that winter will never come.
Inspired by some of the greatest artists of the 20th century, the unusual accord in September Country is made to create a sensory impression of the most significant plants, which dominated the artists’ lifestyle of that very time.
